The deal will see Texen enhance its presence in sustainable pouches and Doypacks

French beauty packaging company Texen has acquired the flexible packaging business of PRP Creation.

The deal will allow Oyonnax, France-based PRP Creation to concentrate on its core capabilities, including plastic packaging, bottles and caps, while Texen will benefit from enhancements to its sustainable products portfolio and its innovation capacity.

Texen has recently enhanced its presence in flexible distribution systems, including pouches and Doypacks, for segments including make-up, skin care and fragrance, which respond to consumer demand for refill systems and waste reduction.

“We are thrilled to welcome this new activity as well as the team behind its development,” said Texen’s CEO, Rémi Weidenmann.

“The combination of our different areas of expertise, as well as Texen’s global presence, represent a major growth opportunity for this value proposition, which offers significant eco-design benefits.”
