Non-metal pump is ideal solution for alcohol hand cleanser

JohnsonDiversey UK has selected Rieke Dispensing’s RS3 pump for its Soft Care Med product, part of a new range of hospital specific solutions under the company’s Soft Care brand.

The product is an alcohol gel hand cleanser, which is based on a blend of propanols as opposed to the more conventional choice of ethanol. The pump is claimed to be robust enough to cope with regular usage while delivering a consistent 1ml dose. In addition, JohnsonDiversey required a pump with a non-metal construction to avoid the risk of reaction with alcohol, making the RS3 pump an ideal choice, according to Rieke.
