The purpose of the position is to provide support in the areas of Chemical/Physical analysis and formulation development of cosmetics and home care products to the R&D department.
This role will include on the job training and the lab work will involve working on multiple product development and testing projects, based in the new state of the art lab facility in Selby.
Activities may include chemical and physical testing of Viscosity, Tensile strength, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer titration, wet chemistry, Ion selective electrodes, pH, wet chemistry analysis, multi meter photometry, alkalinity titration, polarimetry, formulation and preparation of cosmetics and home care products.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have a Msc in Physical Chemistry with 2-3 years work experience.
The candidate should have a genuine interest in Physical Chemistry, who can work independently with strong social and team building skills.
