What kind of involvement does Time Inc have with beauty retail?
As publishers, we’ve long been aware of the demand that our editorial creates. Ask the marketing teams of beauty companies or retailers how important our beauty editors’ content is in terms of driving sales of new products and you will hear universal recognition of that fact. Up to this point we haven’t really been monetising that influence except with affiliate links. This new initiative with the Marie Claire beauty shop aims to open a new revenue stream for us.
