With sustainability unquestionably top of the agenda Vetroplas will continue to offer visitors a range of environmentally friendly packaging solutions.
There will be a focus on a new initiative by factory partner Eurovetrocap, which collates a wide range of sustainable packaging options under the brand name Zero in Pack (ZIP).
A dedicated team is developing pack options with a lower environmental impact and minimal compromise on functionality and aesthetics – achieved using strategies including weight reduction, use of recycled materials, refillables and recyclability of materials.
Aluminium, which is infinitely recyclable, reusable, and lightweight is proving increasingly popular across a range of sectors, including haircare, mouth-care, drinks and household cleaning.
Its versatility will be demonstrated with an expanding range of aluminium bottles with screw threads and crimp necks including a brand new wide-necked aluminium bottle which can be paired with a standard foamer for optimum dispensing.
Thanks to innovation in the sector, plastics are increasingly sustainable and Vetroplas will be showcasing several new products created from mono-materials which are recyclable through existing waste streams, as well as recycled materials produced from regenerated post-consumer and post-industrial waste. New lids and caps, which enhance the recyclability of existing jars, will also be featured.
Glass continues to deliver on both sustainability and aesthetics and bottles and jars in clear, recycled glass, which can be combined with recycled PP and PE accessories will be on show.
Responsibly manufactured plastic tubes, including in mould labelling PP sleeves and caps which are eligible for single polymer disposal streams and PE extruded tube sleeves made with up to 50% PCR material will also be available along with a range of recyclable foamers.
