Henkel boss Kasper Rorsted has committed the company’s future to Russia and Ukraine, despite the on-going political tensions and a deteriorating Russian economy.

“We have achieved significant growth there and we believe n the future of both countries,” Rorsted reportedly told shareholders at Henkel’s recent AGM. The Schwarzkopf hair care maker makes €1.1bn in sales from the Russian region. Other beauty players with significant exposure to Russia and the CIS region include Oriflame (Oriflame makes up to 50% of its sales from the region).
