Luxury beauty brand Dolce & Gabbana (Procter & Gamble Prestige) is adding a new fragrance to its popular The One fragrance franchise.

The One Desire is said to be built on the concept of desire and seduction. "Everything starts with desire. There wouldn't be seduction, sensuality or passion if it wasn't for desire," said Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

The floral oriental scent opens on mandarin, lychee and bergamot, featuring an intense heart of Madonna lily, Indian tuberose, jasmine and plum nectar. The base reveals gourmand notes of vanilla and caramel, combined with sandalwood and musk.

The flacon is in keeping with the signature bottles in the rest of line, with new touches including the fragrance name inscribed in gold lettering. The cap also features a black gemstone, while the bottle itself is coloured opaque black.

The fragrance will be fronted by American actress Scarlett Johansson in an ad campaign shot by Terry Richardson.

Dolce & Gabbana The One Desire edp is priced at £45 and launches from late February.
