Heritage fragrance house Creed has released a new fragrance in partnership with iconic London department store Harrods. Named Millésime 1849 in honour of the establishment of Harrods in 1849, the fragrance is described as a “sweet aromatic” which opens on top notes of Calabrian bergamot - a signature ingredient for Creed - before moving into a heart of jasmine, patchouli, ylang ylang and cedar, and a dry down of sandalwood, oud, vanilla and musk.
Speaking at the London launch, Erwin Creed, seventh generation perfumer and future head of the Creed brand, said the unisex scent was a lighter, sweeter and more powdery twist on traditional oud fragrances.
The fragrance flacon is coloured dark green in reference to the signature colour of Harrods, and is topped off with a gold cap bearing the Creed brand logo.
Millésime 1849 is available exclusively at Harrods priced at £225.
