French beauty brand Clarins is stepping up its body contouring offering with a new cream, Body Lift Cellulite Control. Said to be the result of joint research findings between the Clarins Institute and French public research body Inserm, the new cream works to control the formation of adipose tissue (fat-storing cells) to reduce and prevent cellulite.

It includes a range of actives including caffeine, sunflower phospholipids and geranium extract to fight cellulite, as well as horse chestnut and hazelnut oil for its lifting, smoothing and toning effects.

According to the brand's studies, 78 per cent of users noticed that cellulite was less visible after four weeks' use, while 89 per cent noticed smoother skin after just two weeks.

Launching in April, Body Lift Cellulite Control will be priced at £36/200ml.
