The Summer Raffle will be used for the Beauty Backed Grant Programme, which launches in September

Beauty Backed Trust, the fundraising initiative started last year by UK aesthetician and author Caroline Hirons, has launched a Summer Raffle to raise money for those in the beauty industry affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Prizes include 50 Scamp and Dude goody bags, worth more than £250, plus five ‘Golden Ticket’ experiences. These include skin care consultations with Hirons herself and skin health specialist Dija Ayodele; a make-up masterclass with Lisa Potter-Dixon; a perfect blow dry masterclass with Errol Douglas; and a perfect fake tan masterclass with Jules Von Hep.

Raffle tickets are £10 each or three for £20 and are available via BeautyBacked.com. The raffle closes at 12pm on Friday 20 August.

Funds raised will be used for the Beauty Backed Grant Programme, which launches in September.

The grants aim to provide financial and mentoring support to those in the beauty industry and those looking to enter the industry having been affected by the pandemic.

Beauty Backed said it would be releasing more information about the grants in coming weeks.
