CLR Berlin to launch C. acnes inhibiting active ingredient

Published: 27-Feb-2020

CLR Berlin is introducing a new active ingredient to coincide with the in-cosmetics Global ingredients trade show at the end of March.

CutiBiome CLR has been developed to reduce the negative results of an imbalance in the skin microbiota.

CutiBiome CLR (INCI: Octyldodecanol, Leptospermum scoparium branch/leaf oil, Piper nigrum fruit extract, Magnolia officinalis bark extract) abolishes the film-forming activity and significantly inhibits the growth of Cutibacterium acnes phylotype I-A1, thereby dramatically reducing sebum, comedones, pustules and pimples.

It has also been proved in vivo to reduce dandruff, as well as scalp oiliness, sensitivity and itching.
