Dry shampoo brand Batiste has partnered with the LGBT Foundation to support charity schemes and programmes across UK communities.
The Church & Dwight-owned brand has pledged £30,000 from product sales to support the foundation’s services.
According to Batiste, the LGBT Foundation supports more than 40,000 gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans people each year looking for advice and information.
“Batiste celebrates and supports diversity,” said Michael Benson Church & Dwight’s Marketing Director.
“We are delighted to be partnering with the LBGT Foundation to do just that.”
The announcement follows Batiste’s limited edition fragrance launch Love is Love, which has removed all gender-led how-to directions.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Batiste on the launch of their Love of Love Dry Shampoo,” added LGBT Foundation’s Assistant Director Debra Nixon.
“Together we will be celebrating the diversity of our communities around important dates in the LGBT calendar.
“Our partnership will ensure that we are able to deliver valuable services that save lives, also ensuring that our message of ‘equality wins’ reaches a wider and more diverse audience.”
She continued: “Together, we will amplify the voices of LGBT people celebrating diversity and creating a safe, healthy and equal future for all LGBT people.”
