Following two years of low exhibition activity due to Covid-19, Azelis was excited to exhibit again at in-cosmetics Global, Paris, the leading event for personal care ingredients. The exhibition brings together personal care ingredients suppliers and finished-product manufacturers, looking to network, learn about future trends and discover new products.
This year’s theme at the Azelis booth was “Revival”. Six innovative formulations, created by the Azelis personal care labs, were on display.
Azelis, an innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients distribution industry, was very proud to showcase a range of refreshing new innovative formulations around the theme of “Revival” that have been designed to revitalize, renew and reinvigorate consumers’ outlook.
The collection is based around a return to trade shows, meeting customers, a refreshing outlook, renewing friendships and partnerships, returning from time-out due to Covid-19, new outlooks post Covid-19 and refreshed formulations.
With all this in mind, the Azelis laboratory teams have also focused on key market trends including water-free technologies, solid formats, unique textures and natural materials. Azelis’ new formulations will cover skin care, hair care, bath and shower, colour cosmetics, body care and sun care applications offering something for every formulator.
This year’s formulations by Azelis are dedicated to reviving, refreshing and revitalising the body. Azelis has, for example, created a ‘Replenishing Clear Sun Stick’ with a predicted SPF of 30. This easy-to-use stick format has excellent pay off and spreadability. Developed with a unique multi-functional polymer that allows the formulation of clear sticks, this formula contains a photo-stabilizing antioxidant to protect the skin during and after sun exposure.
Redefining In and Out Gummies taps into the trend of beauty – inside and out. The OUT Gummy has been formulated using a synergistic blend of natural hydrocolloid gums. This solid jelly gummy can be diluted in boiling water to become a moisturising face mask that is rich in glycerine and superfruit juices. Alongside the ‘Out gummy’ the Azelis Food and Health team have developed an edible beauty supplement to enhance beauty inside and out. We were very proud to win the Bronze award for Sensory innovation at the show with this fantastic formulation.
Azelis’ Personal Care specialists also demonstrated at the in-cosmetics Formulation Lab® sessions and presented at the Technical Seminar programme.
