The private label colour cosmetics company says the takeover will significantly increase its manufacturing capabilities in the UK

Amelia Knight, the private label colour cosmetics company, has acquired colour cosmetics supplier Longshawe Packaging.

The takeover will create new jobs, doubling the number of employees located at Longshawe’s Staffordshire site, while significantly increasing Amelia Knight’s manufacturing capabilities in the UK and complementing its global business.

David Salmon, Chairman and CEO of Amelia Knight, said: "This acquisition reinforces our commitment to invest in UK manufacturing and innovation within the cosmetics sector.

“As a business, we are continually expanding our capabilities, on our journey of making beautiful products for our customers both at home and overseas."

Amelia Knight offers a turnkey solution for cosmetics companies and also produces its own ranges of direct-to-consumer brands including Scientia, Girls4Girls and Tiffy & Tallulah.

In March 2019, Amelia Knight acquired rival company Pascalle Cosmetics and, as a result, its first British factory.
