Green Star Products’ new website will allow formulators and chemical manufacturers to rate the naturalness of their ingredients.


Green Star Products’ new website will allow formulators and chemical manufacturers to rate the naturalness of their ingredients.

The non-profit service, available at www.greenstarproducts.org, lists products that have been rated by the Green Star Method and allows manufacturers to post their product’s Green Star Rating on the web page. A product can be rated from one to ten based on its natural content. While there are many factors that determine a product’s greenness, the formulator can use this rating to standardise ingredients and make comparisons.
