New vitamin derivative from Daiichi
Daiichi Fine Chemical says it has discovered a new vitamin B6 derivative, Panadoxine P, or pyridoxine-3,4’-cyclic-phosphate (PN-3,4’-cP) with superior stability especially against sunlight.
Daiichi Fine Chemical says it has discovered a new vitamin B6 derivative, Panadoxine P, or pyridoxine-3,4’-cyclic-phosphate (PN-3,4’-cP) with superior stability especially against sunlight.
Panadoxine P was maintained in stable condition in compositions such as medicaments, foodstuffs, feeds and cosmetics. Panadoxine P is a pro form of vitamin B6 and is released as vitamin B6 by internal enzymes such as phosphatase. Panadoxine P is a useful source of vitamin B6, particularly for skin or hair care. Thanks to its stability, Panadoxine P is able to penetrate through the first skin layers and evolves its vitamin activity to improve skin damages.
