With the sea as its inspiration, BiotechMarine has launched 11 new ingredients, nine of which are extracted from marine plants and two that come from a Breton seaweed.
The hair care range boasts three new ingredients - Cramba maritima, Limonium latifolium, and Inula crithmoide. Cramba maritima is claimed to make hair colour shine while protecting the hair fibres. Limonium latifolium is said to protect hair from the elements while preventing static. Lastly, Inula crithmoide is claimed to make hair shine while enhancing natural colour.
BiotechMarine says it can protect skin from the sun while revitalising it to a more youthful essence. Inula crithmoide is used to firm the skin and is also for anti-ageing purposes. For sensitive skin, the company offers Aster maritime, which it says has soothing and calming agents. Limonium latifolim is positioned to slow skin ageing.
