Nestlé directors join L'Oréal board

Two companies strengthen alliance


Paul Buicke, deputy md of Nestlé, and Christiane Kuehne, Nestlé's strategic affairs director, are to join the board of L'Oréal alongside Jean-Victor Meyers, grandson of Liliane Bettencourt. Mme Bettencourt, the now-elderly daughter of the group's founder, will leave the board as already announced, after being placed under guardianship. The Bettencourt family remains the main shareholder with just below 31% of the capital compared with Nestlé with 29.7% of the equity.
