Naturex sees 19.5% organic growth in first quarter
Enhanced product range and sales synergies benefit all markets
Plant-based natural ingredients specialist Naturex has reported a sharp growth in sales to €60.4m (17.5% organic growth) for the first quarter of 2011. The company says an enhanced product range and sales synergies have benefited all markets and geographical regions in which it operates.
Gross margin is up 30.8% to €37.4m and operating income is up 47.2% to €7.8m.
“These excellent results for the quarter confirm the solid performance of 2010 and are very closely in line with the yearly targets for growth and profitability announced for 2011,” commented Jacques Dikansky, president, ceo and founder of Naturex.
