Naturex sees 18% sales jump
Outlook for 2013 will focus on R&D
Naturex, the French group producing and marketing natural ingredients for the pharma, food and cosmetics industries, has reported an 18.2% rise in sales in 2012 to €299.8m. Pre-tax profits went up 32.6% to €31.7m and net profits reached €22.9m in 2012 compared with €15.6m the year earlier. The company, based in Avignon, has benefited from its positioning both in mature and emerging markets. Emerging markets alone contributed 17.7% of group sales last year.
Thierry Lambert, Naturex president, said long term growth potential would be strengthened in 2013 through intensified effort in R&D.
