The brand is also expected to roll-out into China, Vietnam and Taiwan in 2009, having up to now only been sold in its home country and throughout Europe.

Murad Inc has appointed the Paua Group International Co, a Thai subsidiary group to be its exclusive distributor in the country. Paua Group has spent over 50 million baht to open three Murad sales counters in Siam Paragon, The Emporium and Central Lat Phrao shopping malls in the hope of enticing customers.

Speaking about branching out into the Asian market, founder Dr Murad said: “the popularity of skin care products formulated by doctors has increased every year in the United States and Europe and I expect this trend to also catch on in Thailand. There is huge growth potential in Asia.”
