MILK Beauty has appointed Co-founder Arati Nar as its new Marketing Director. Nar previously worked as Head of Customer Acquisition at Ocado.
Nars joined Ocado in 2001 and saw the company expand from a small start-up into tone of the UK’s top online supermarkets. She is said to have played a key role in raising brand awareness and lead the company’s customer acquisition strategy.
MILK Beauty secured its initial funding in 2015 and Nars met its Managing Director, Lucy Patterson, shortly afterwards. The pair stayed in contact throughout the following 12 months, before Nars officially joined the team last month.
Nar will now be tasked with developing the MILK Beauty Business alongside Patterson. “I am thrilled that Arati has joined the MILK team. Arati knows how to engage with new customers. Her ability to grow a business at pace will ensure we realise our ambitious plans for 2016,” Patterson commented.
Nar added: “I am delighted to be on board with MILK as it starts to enter its next growth phase and really look forward to the journey we will go on to establish MILK as the first choice in mobile beauty.”
MILK Beauty offers mobile salon services available to visit consumers at home, in office or at corporate events. The service is available across London and within the M25. Appointments are available from 10am to 10pm, seven days a week.
