Migros says L'Oréal not passing on exchange rate advantages
Ceasing to handle certain products
Major Swiss distribution group Migros has announced that it is ceasing to handle certain products from L'Oréal because the cosmetics company has not allowed exchange rate advantages to L'Oréal to be reflected in its prices.
Oscar Sager, marketing director for Migros, has said three Garnier care product lines are affected. He added that L'Oréal had made some concessions but had not gone far enough.
Another Swiss distributor, Coop, has meanwhile reached an agreement with L'Oréal to include Studio Line products in its offer though it is declining to handle a number of other products.
