Mäurer & Wirtz announces new license partner for 2011
German fragrance house to partner with fashion label Windsor
Fragrance house Mäurer & Wirtz has announced a new license partner for its Prestige division – German fashion label windsor – and the initiative will mean two new fragrance collaborations out next year.
The first fragrances, one for men and one for women, will be on shelf by the middle of next year and Mäurer & Wirtz will be working closely with the windsor creative team and the Hamburg-based product designer Peter Schmidt on the collaboration.
Dr Hermann Wirtz, managing partner of Mäurer & Wirtz, comments: “There are so many parallels between windsor and our company, we are united by a long tradition and an exceptional commitment to quality. This shared vision is the ideal foundation for us to create and authentic fragrance for the label.
Reiner Pichler, ceo of the Holy Fashion Group whose portfolio includes the windsor brand, adds: “We already have a highly successful collaboration with Mäurer & Wirtz for our Strellson brand and based on this we knew that Mäurer & Wirtz was the ideal partner to transform the essence of the windsor brand into a line of appealing fragrances and successfully market these offerings.”
