LVMH accused of selling lead-containing Dior lipstick

The major luxury products group LVMH, which has just won a $61m action against the online auction group eBay, is now in the legal firing line in Chicago in a class action brought by a group of plaintiffs who allege that the company sold lipstick products containing lead under the Christian Dior brand name.


The major luxury products group LVMH, which has just won a $61m action against the online auction group eBay, is now in the legal firing line in Chicago in a class action brought by a group of plaintiffs who allege that the company sold lipstick products containing lead under the Christian Dior brand name.

The Chicago court has rejected LVMH's appeal not to go ahead with the case. The complaint was filed in November last year.
