You're More Than Just A Pretty Face campaign launches

US actress leslie mann has partnered with Kao-owned skin care brand Jergens for a new campaign promoting its Wet Skin Moisturizer range. The campaign is running with the tagline: “You’re More than Just a Pretty Face” and aims to remind women to care for the skin on their bodies, as well as their faces.

Karen Frank, Vice President of US Mass and Global Skin Care Marketing at Kao USA, said: “We believe that your whole body is beautiful – and that the skin on your body is just as important as the skin on your face. We hope to inspire women to love everything about themselves, playing off the well-known colloquialism – while also reminding them to make the most of their biggest natural beauty asset, their skin – without taking ourselves too seriously.”

The campaign introduces a new product, Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer, which can be applied onto wet skin after a shower without any need to dry off or rinse away any residue. Blending with water, the product is said to lock in additional hydration. The product is available in three scents: nourishing monoi oil, refreshing coconut oil and calming green tea tree oil.

Mann was said to be a perfect match for the campaign. Frank added: “When we looked at Leslie’s attributes and how women felt about her, they really related to her. They love her humour, her attitude, that she was multifaceted.”
