Fragrance brand Lake & Skye has been acquired by Tru Fragrance & Beauty.
Tru Fragrance & Beauty, which made a minority investment in the brand in 2018, will use the acquisition to scale the US-based business’ growth.
It also plans to more “aggressively grow” Lake & Skye’s consumer base, as well as support national retailer partners including Ulta, Nordstrom and Blue Mercury.

“Tru Fragrance & Beauty has played a pivotal role in Lake & Skye's growth since 2018, and I’m excited to deepen our collaboration and continue our upward trajectory.
“By working closely together, we’re poised to elevate the brand to new heights, deepening our relationship with the fragrance and wellness community that has so warmly embraced us.”
Lake & Skye was founded by Somer in 2015 and its hero scents include 11 11, 11 11 Azure and 11 11 Vanilla.
Somer will become Chief Creative Officer and remain a minority equity owner.
Roxann Blasz, meanwhile, will become the brand’s new President and brings more than two decades of experience within the fragrance industry including positions at L’Oréal and Coty.
