Korean beauty brand Saranghae is celebrating its US expansion.
The skin care company caters to the 25+ demographic and recently launched its Complete 5 Step Anti-Aging System into the region.
Saranghae expanded into the US 12 months ago and has reportedly seen a 3,000% growth.
The brand said it is currently poised to become the fastest growing Korean skin care brand in North America.
"We've been active in the Korean market place for some time but we're fairly new to North America,” said Peter Lee President & CEO of Saranghae.
“Current Korean skin care brands in the US mostly target Asian expatriates or consumers who already know and understand Korean beauty but we're looking to build relationships with North American consumers that are new to K-Beauty.
“We didn't anticipate so much demand so quickly. We sold out three times in 12 months."
Saranghae’s latest product launches include the Saranghae Firm & Lift Cellular Regeneration Cream, Focus Renewal Eye Cream and Deep Radiance Essence & Serum.
The new collection has been formulated with the sang hwang mushroom, a popular anti-inflammatory ingredient that is known as the ‘healing mushroom’.
"Innovation is part of our DNA. We're constantly looking to improve for greater efficacy and better customer experience,” added Lee.
To extract and stabilise the sang hwang mushroom, the brand worked with the University of Seoul in Korea to create two new extraction technologies that took more than five years to perfect.
