Kao Corp plans to overhaul strategy to target China and make a profit in the region

After years of struggling, Japan’s Kao Corp is expected to generate a profit in China for the fiscal year ending December 2015 by overhauling its strategy.

Kao entered China in 1993, but its relatively early entrance did not pay off as its everyday goods and cosmetics businesses steadily lost money there.
