Niche fragrance brand Juliette Has a Gun has released a new scent for women, named Anyway.
The fragrance, the eleventh from the brand, has been described by founder Romano Ricci as “a perfume that would be neither too sophisticated nor overly imposing. Something delicious that you’d want to wear all day long. It’s clear, to the point and yet utterly unique”.
The fragrance itself blends musks, woods and floral notes including neroli, green lime essence, jasmine absolute and musk with ambroxan and hedione HC. It is packaged in a translucent white bottle which features a “soft touch effect”. The outer packaging, meanwhile, is a grosgrain paper box featuring a black satin bow. Anyway is currently available in the UK at Selfridges department store, priced at £65.
Ricci, the great grandson of fashion and fragrance doyenne Nina Ricci and grandson of perfumer Robert Ricci, launched Juliette Has a Gun in 2006. The brand was launched with two key scents: Lady Vengeance and Miss Charming, which Ricci created with French perfumer Francis Kurkdjian in 2006. The brand is now sold in over 50 countries.
