Fragrance distributor and manufacturer Selective Beauty and fashion designer John Galliano have signed an 11 year worldwide licensing agreement for the creation, manufacturing and distribution of a fragrance line signed by John Galliano.
"John Galliano is a perfect brand for our newly created Luxury Division, in which products must be exceptionally creative and qualitative,” comments Corrado Brondi, president of Selective Beauty. “In terms of distribution strategy we will be extremely careful in selecting the right stores capable of helping us to create a high level of desire for this incredible brand”.
John Galliano is not the first fashion designer to move into the fragrance arena. Matthew Williamson has a very successful line with Aspects Beauty and Tom Ford's collaboration with Estée lauder has also proven popular.
