First project will be the Old English Garden in Battersea Park

Jo Malone has committed to working together with Thrive, a UK charity which works at harnessing the therapeutic power of gardening as a way to help disabled people, as part of an Urban Community Garden project.

Jo Malone is funding the regeneration of Thrive’s largest London Gardening Project, the Old English Garden in Battersea Park. The garden will be developed by a team of trainee gardeners living with physical disabilities or mental health issues.

Maureen Case is the president of specialty brands at Jo Malone: “The British Garden has always provided inspiration for Jo Malone fragrances and so we are delighted to be supporting charities that use gardens to bring beauty to urban space. Nature has given us so much and it’s a true pleasure to be able to give something back to the community.

“Our team in London is looking forward to volunteering in the Old English Garden and helping to create a scented haven in the heart of the city.”
