Actress turned businesswoman Jessica Alba, 34, has revealed her eco-friendly household and baby care company, The Honest Company, will be rolling out a cosmetics line this autumn.
The company already produces an extensive bath and body collection, including sunscreen, shampoo and toothpaste. However, it took to social media to reveal it would soon be launching a colour collection called Honest Beauty.
On The Honest Company Instagram page, a campaign teaser image of Honest Beauty was posted with the slogan: “Honestly beautiful. Join us. Fall 2015”. The post read: “Something big is coming soon! And, as Honest members, we want you to be one of the first to join our extended family: @Honest_Beauty”.
Since then, a teaser image has been posted on the @Honest_Beauty page showing a number of what appear to be lip colours under development. The post reads: “Are you eager to become an #HonestBeauty? Take a first look at the development of our color collection.”
Alba saw her business reach the $1bn valuation mark in June, four years after it was founded.
