The Estée Lauder Companies has named Boris Janicek the new Director General of Clinique France. He took up his post officially on 6 January and replaces Philippe Despax, formerly of prestige brands Cartier and Chanel.
Janicek began his career in the industry at L’Oréal USA in the marketing department. In 2005, he became L’Oréal’s Marketing Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia and later joined the Professional Products Division. He joined Estée Lauder in August last year as Director General of Clinique, Benelux countries. In his new role, Janicek will report directly to Henk van der Mark, President of Estée Lauder Companies France.
