Italy’s pharmacies on a winning streak

Now account for 16% of cosmetic sales


Italian pharmacies were the best sales outlets for cosmetic products in 2010 with a market value nearly or higher than €1.5bn, according to preliminary figures from industry association Unipro.

This represents a doubling of market value in the past ten years with the percentage of cosmetics sold in pharmacies reaching 16% of the total market.
