Three years on from its successful debut fragrance, Prada has launched its second female scent.
Infusion d’Iris was inspired by the clean scent of crisp linen sheets and naked skin. According to perfumer Daniela Andrier, the new perfume does not mimic any current trends in perfumery.
Infusion d’Iris opens with notes of orange blossom and mandarin leading a heart of iris, the predominant note of the fragrance. Galbanum and lentisc add an earthy quality, while the dry down is made up of benzoin, incense, vetiver and cedarwood.
The bottle echoes the design of vintage perfume bottles and features the iconic Prada crest, while the outer box is coloured mint green. The edp is available in a spray format in 50ml, 100ml and 200ml sizes, and an edp splash is available in 400ml and 750ml bottles. To accompany the fragrance, Prada has developed a line of scented ancillary products including a body lotion, bath and shower gel, candle, scented notebook, linen water and bath salts.
