Inter Parfums (IPAR) has signed exclusive contracts to produce beauty and perfume products for Banana Republic and Gap. IPAR chairman and ceo Jean Madar said that, “This will be a massive new avenue for us that should deliver huge growth.” Banana Republic's range of bath, body and fragrance products was launched at 400 of its 503 stores in September 2006. Gap's new products are expected to hit most of the company's stores in March 2007.
Inter Parfums makes and markets top fragrances worldwide, with top brands including Burberry, Van Cleef & Arpel and Lanvin. IPAR stock rose to 20 on 6 December 2006 from 15 on 1 September 2006.
