Inter Parfums has announced that it is extending its license partnership with Jimmy Choo until 31 December 2031.

The two companies entered a 12 year deal in 2009, that saw Jimmy Choo expand its women’s fragrance portfolio and venture into male fragrances.

The brand has been a key player for Inter Parfums, with Jimmy Choo sales up by 24% sales to nearly €79m in 2017.

Inter Parfums accredited Jimmy Choo L’Eau and Jimmy Choo Man Ice to the sales boost.

"This new long-term partnership between Jimmy Choo and Interparfums represents an opportunity to develop the beauty business for the Jimmy Choo brand,” said Jean Madar, Chairman & CEO of Inter Parfums.

“Growing a beauty business that emulates the Jimmy Choo DNA will require additional investments in product development over the long-term. We look forward to collaborating with Jimmy Choo to design perfume and cosmetic products that resonate with customers globally."

The luxury shoe and accessories company was put up for sale earlier this year, but Inter Parfum denied rumours of a potential takeover.
