Inolex earns the top award for its AminoSensyl Ultra MB technology

Published: 10-Feb-2026

Innovation is a critical component of success in the personal care industry. Many suppliers insist their ingredients are innovative, but when the customer and consumer agree, it underscores an ingredient’s novelty and efficacy

Henkel Consumer Brands presented Inolex with its “Best Innovation Contributor 2025” award. The announcement came at the annual Henkel Consumer Brands Supplier Awards, during the American Cleaning Institute Annual Meeting & Industry Convention in Orlando, FL.

The Awards recognize their top suppliers for their industry-leading performance in 2025. More than 300 home care and personal care executives attended the event.

Inolex was recognized for its AminoSensylTM Ultra MB (Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Brassicyl Valinate Esylate). Our amino lipid technology is “a new generation of biobased care actives that provide an authentic hair look and feel” with outstanding results in their Authentic Beauty Concept (ABC) products.

The ABC line includes a Replenish Light Cream Mask, Hydrate Mask and ABC Glow Mask, Conditioner, and Split Ends Remedy Balm.

As a COSMOS-approved, non-quat, complete conditioning system. AminoSensylTM Ultra MB creates luxury textures and provides weightless nourishment with intensive repair performance.

Better than BTAC

AminoSensylTM Ultra MB matches the performance of Behentrimonium Chloride (BTAC), a commonly used conditioning system, while being easy on the ocean. It delivers smooth, easy-to-comb, and stronger hair across all textures including curly, coily, and chemically treated.

AminoSensylTM Ultra MB is powered by 100% naturally derived, biodegradable conditioning. It has applications in hair conditioners, hair masks, hair treatments, scalp care, emulsions and cleansers, and beard care.
