INOLEX boosts R&D capabilities with key new technical hires
INOLEX continues to add to its Research & Development Team with two recent hires in its Philadelphia office.
Jiangmin Chen, PhD, joined the INOLEX R&D Team as Synthesis Chemist. Dr. Chen will leverage his background in synthetic organic chemistry and his postdoctoral research from Virginia Commonwealth University in biodegradable antimicrobial materials to build on INOLEX’s portfolio of industry-leading, innovative ingredients. In addition to his academic background, Dr. Chen brings over 5 years of industrial pharmaceutical medicinal chemistry collaboration experience to the team.
Zongyu Zhang, Ph.D., joined the R&D Team as Research Scientist. She holds a PhD in Food Science and Technology, an MS in Biochemical Engineering and a BS in Biochemistry. Bringing several years of experience in one of the largest cosmetic companies in China, Shanghai Jahwa, as well as in the food and beverage industry for Coca-Cola Company, her research expertise in preservative systems, microbiology, and technical lab processes furthers INOLEX’s capabilities the fast-growing alternative preservation market. Dr. Zhang will also be responsible for coordinating the testing projects globally in the new Guanghzou microbiology lab to support development and sales of alternative preservation solutions.
