The best selling scent of the 70s, Aqua Manda, is today making a comeback to the UK market. The classic scent will have its own dedicated concession in Debenhams' flagship Oxford Street store’s beauty hall, with products available including 100ml bottle, 30ml Purse Spray, Body Powder and Beauty Soap.
Originally launched in the 1947 before becoming the UK’s best-selling perfume in 1969, Aqua Manda is a blend of mandarin, ginger, lavender, patchouli and cinnamon essential oils and herbal notes of eucalyptus, tarragon and juniper berry. Aqua Manda’s original creator, Christopher Collins, acted as an advisor to Beauty Brand Development, the company behind the relaunch, to ensure the scent was re-created to the highest and most authentic standard.
Aqua Manda products that will be available from the concession will include the 100ml bottle, 30ml Purse Spray, Body Powder and Beauty Soap. Since its revival last month, Aqua Manda has been extremely well received by consumers and we are looking forward to continuing its success with the launch into Debenhams, a natural retail partner for the brand.
