Chicago-based speciality chemical business, The Hallstar Company has recently launched a range of ingredients for sun care products.

The ingredients are claimed to protect the skin from UV rays. Polycrylene is said to shield from UVA rays while maintaining water resistence. Spectrasolv DMDA is said to heighten sunscreen protection while eliminating odour-causing bacteria. The company’s other new ingredient launches include: HallBrite BHB, HallGreen PS, HallGreen PCN and HallGel 305.
