Habia, the standards setting body for training and education in the hair and beauty industry, has appointed Gill Morris as Partnership Director, with immediate effect.
Morris was a founding director of Habia in 2000. In this newly created role, she will be looking to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships within education, industry and employers to develop business growth.
Speaking of her appointment, Morris said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be appointed as Partnership Director of Habia. I feel as though my career to date has brought me to this point and I am looking forward to bringing education and the commercial side of the industry closer together. My remit is to bring together education, industry and employers for mutual benefit, ensuring the future success of not just Habia but the industry as a whole.”
Habia have helped to create a government supported professional register, the Register of Beauty Professionals and also supply a range of products and services in beauty, hair and spa.
