The acquisition of Italy-based AB Parfums, which distributes brands including Viktor & Rolf, aims to strengthen the beauty distributor’s beauty offering

Give Back Beauty has acquired fragrance maker AB Parfums.

The beauty licenser and distributor purchased the assets and subsidiaries of the Italian business from multi-sector conglomerate Angelini Industries.

The deal aims to reinforce Give Back Beauty’s ‘direct-to-retail’ distribution in countries including Italy, Germany and Spain.

AB Parfums distributes perfumes for L’Oréal Group brands including Ralph Lauren, Maison Margiela, Cacharel, Diesel, Azzaro and Viktor & Rolf.

“AB Parfums will operate within the GBB Group as a dedicated business unit for European lifestyle and prestige brands within the fragrance and beauty sectors, while our Paris unit will lead luxury brands, and our two North American units will handle American fashion brands and celebrity beauty projects,” said Corrado Brondi, founder and President of Give Back Beauty.

“Outside Europe, GBB has distribution hubs in the UK, USA and Canada, alongside regional offices in Latin America, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania."

Give Back Beauty has been expanding its portfolio in recent years, and is also a partner for brands including Tommy Hilfiger and Mercedes-Benz.

It has also collaborated with Dolce & Gabbana, Olaplex and Billie Eilish.

“Our priority as entrepreneurs is to grow and develop the businesses we own,” added Sergio Marullo di Condojanni, CEO of Angelini Industries.

“Over the years, we have supported AB Parfums and its management team, whom we sincerely thank for their excellent work, in consolidating and growing the company.

“We believe, however, that AB Parfums can now fully realise its potential within the GBB group – a best-in-class player in fragrances and beauty.”
