French fashion label A.P.C. has made its beauty debut with a skin care and fragrance collection called 'Self Care'.
It includes a lip balm, hand cream and body lotion formulated with sunflower seed oil and shea butter.
Priced from €12 to €60, the unisex line also includes a hand wash, shower gel, and an eau de cologne.
Orange blossom fragrance is used throughout the collection, which pays homage to founder Jean Touitou’s Tunisian heritage and its use in cooking and perfumes.
The scent is also featured in the brands line of room sprays and candles.
“In fashion as in the cosmetics industry, the balance between too much and not enough is difficult to find. It's a real job,” said A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou.
“These six products are the best possible. They are designed to make you feel good and comfortable and help you to have a good day.”
A.P.C. was founded by Touitou in 1987 and gained recognition for its raw denim jeans.
The brand now stocks a collection of men's and women's clothing, as well homeware products including candles.
Investment firm L Catterton acquired a majority stake in A.P.C. in March 2023, with the aim of bolstering the fashion brand’s international growth.
L Catterton has also invested in a number of beauty brands including Irene Forte and Merit, as well as Chinese synthetic collagen maker Trautec.
