IBR Ltd has developed a new ingredient that inhibits muscle contraction, offering a safe and effective substitute for Botox.

IBR-Snowflake features an extract from the dormant bulb of Leucojum aestivum, otherwise known as the Summer Snowflake or Loddon Lily. The extract contains cell proliferation inhibitors that help retard cell multiplication while the bulb is dormant. However, they also slow down cell proliferation in the skin, helping to preserve its youthful appearance.

IBR-Snowflake also increases superoxide dismutase (SOD) expression, making it an effective anti-ageing active.

The product is available in two formats: IBR-Snowflake 1001 has a non-paraben preservative system, while IBR-Snowflake all natural 1003 is free from all preservatives.

In addition, the company’s IBR-Dormin, an anti-ageing active extracted from dormant narcissus bulbs, is now certified organic having passed USDA certification inspection.
