Tiffany Salmon-Mills is adding another string to her beauty bow.

The Glow Hub founder and CEO, who also serves as Creative Director for her family’s cosmetics manufacturer, Amelia Knight, is setting out to turn the lip care category on its head with her new brand, BYORBE.

The brand focuses on repair and protection for the lip barrier, launching with two products designed to work in tandem to restore and support the lips through acne, aesthetic treatments, and day-to-day life.

BYORBE launches on 2 November on byrobe.com with products now available for pre-order.

The idea for the product line came to Salmon-Mills after she found herself unable to recommend an existing lip treatment when asked.

“There is nothing that is there to treat lips and protect them from everything that we put them through,” said Salmon-Mills.

BYORBE goes beyond solely hydrating lips, instead acting as a barrier to protect the delicate lip area from harsh active skin care ingredients as well as supporting the lips through acne treatments such as Roaccutane, which often leaves them dry and cracked, and post-aesthetic and professional treatment.

“Our whole ethos is we are protection from modern skin treatments,” explains Salmon-Mills.

“So whether that is retinol that you are using in your skin regime, or whether that is going in for lip filler.

“We are barrier-first lip care, which I think is really important because the lip barrier is so much thinner than the facial skin barrier and so it is even more vulnerable, and we are not really protecting it.”
