ESK expands boron nitride range

ESK Ceramics GmbH & Co KG has enhanced its raw boron nitride range. The new BORONEIGE grades for skin care products are said to reduce wrinkles and smooth skin, while providing good coverage and a skin lightening effect.

ESK Ceramics GmbH & Co KG has enhanced its raw boron nitride range. The new BORONEIGE grades for skin care products are said to reduce wrinkles and smooth skin, while providing good coverage and a skin lightening effect.

One specially micronised BORONEIGE grade has been tested for use as an ingredient in skin care applications, designed to impart advantageous optical properties. According to ESK, the results show that its boron nitride produces a powerful soft focus effect. In addition, its skin smoothing and anti-wrinkle effects can be measured in the lab.

ESK has also expanded the BORONEIGE range with the BORONEIGE 301 and BORONEIGE Superfine grades. According to ESK, both products are ideal for skin care applications, producing a soft, velvety feel on the skin.
