Elle extends body

Launched just last September and available only at Boots, 45-year old supermodel Elle Macpherson’s The Body range is already a £3m brand and is reportedly targeted by Boots as one of its top five beauty brands.

Joining the range are three new products, again developed with Meller Beauty. Brown Sugar Body Polish is a body scrub with natural oils to moisturise and rejuvenate dry skin. Pedicure in a Jar is a foot treatment balm designed to nourish dry, tired feet with cooling mint and soothing honey extracts. A pair of treatment socks is also supplied to intensify the effect. Busy Busy is a 3-in-1 shower product that combines cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising properties for a quick pampering experience.

Also new is the Get Glam line comprising Shimmer Polish, Shimmer Crème and Sparkle Powder. The Get Glam line gift set is said to be one of Boots’ hero gift sets for 2006. For all products the proposition remains ‘great products at affordable prices’, and for the time being there are no plans to take the brand beyond the UK.
