Drest, the fashion mobile game and e-commerce app, is ramping up its beauty offering with its latest partnership.

Hairdresser to the stars Josh Wood has been named Drest's in-house 'hair colour expert' to help design the avatars' style.

Created by Lucy Yeomans, former Editor-in-chief of Net-a-Porter's magazine Porter, in 2019 Drest is a luxury styling mobile game that allows users to purchase real-life versions of the looks.

Wood's three hair colours for Drest are available until 30 June. 'Cherry Pop' and 'Copper' are inspired by Wood's work with fashion house Miu Miu and 'Pink Quartz' is a nod to collaboration with Marc Jacobs.

"Josh is one of the beauty and fashion industry’s most in-demand experts, known for creating beautiful, stand-out, high-fashion colour looks on both the runway and red carpet," said Yeomans.

Drest has previously teamed up with hairdresser Sam McKnight and Princess Diana's former make-up artist Mary Greenwell to design the model's make-up and hair portfolio.

NARS and Gucci Beauty, meanwhile, are among its beauty brand partners.

"Our goal in Drest is to create a styling experience that makes our players feel as though they are collaborating with the very best in the fashion and beauty industry," continued Yeomans.

"With Josh adding his colour expertise to Mary Greenwell’s make-up and Sam McKnight’s hair styling, as well as our five world-renowned supermodels, Drest stylists really do have the best fashion world talent at their fingertips."
